Because they are increasingly adorable.

Last Year on Valentine's Day

I can't express how quickly Bailey and Cooper seem to be growing. Yesterday, I looked at the picture from one year ago on their first Valentine's and I couldn't believe the difference.

They are beginning to speak a few more words. Cooper can say "Max", "Ball" and best of all "Momma" which makes up most of his vocabulary. Bailey says a little more with the cutest thing being "Bye bye daddy". She started it a few weekends ago when we had to meet Todd who left his wallet at home to get gas in his vehicle. Todd got inside my vehicle to say hi to them and when he was getting out he said "Bye, I'll see you guys at home" Bailey responded with "Bye bye daddy" which we thought was cool but probably just a fluke, but that same afternoon at nap time she said the same thing when he put her down for nap. She has yet to say "Bye bye momma" but then I never seem to leave.

Bailey and Cooper are also very cute together. They love to hug and wrestle and ticke one another. Bailey just puts her hands on his stomach and says "tickle tickle tickle" but it's enough to make him laugh. They hold hands in the car and giggle, it's one of the most adorable things I have ever seen.

They are eating A LOT. Last night we went to La Carreta (the best Mexican restaurant around) and they ate one cheese quesidilla, one cheese enchilada, half of a cheese burrito, chips, rice and beans. They ate more than Todd or I. They love grapes and pickles (especially Cooper). One thing I love about this age is that they will eat any leftovers. Before we were always throwing away leftover food but with Bailey and Cooper we just heat up what's in the fridge for lunch. I know that won't last long however.

It is not all fun and finger foods though, they have started getting into the cabinets and that drives me bananas. We have resorted to wrapping hairbands around the knobs and so far that has worked OK.
