Last week we got a package in the mail from Arizona. Brandon, our dear sweet nephew, had chosen us to send a friend of his for a visit. The friend is Flat Stanley and he's well, he's flat, so thankfully we don't have to feed him very much. He is to be here for less than two weeks and we want to do something really fun with him, so we're asking you for suggestions. Where do you think we should take Flat Stanley?
He really needs to be on his way home by Monday so we need to do something fun with him over the weekend.

Ten Weeks
By now all of you probably know that we are expecting another baby, this one due the end of August. I had a check-up this morning and all looks well. I thought some of you might like to see the ultrasound photo they took. The baby was moving a lot and we got to see his arms and legs and beating heart. We are very excited and hope that all continues to go well.
UPDATE: We do not yet know if the baby is a boy or girl. We probably won't know until 23 weeks. I refer to the baby as a him only because 'it' doesn't sound right to me. Todd, however, thinks the baby is a boy.

Pancake Breakfast
Last weekend Todd let me sleep in. He fed the kids Eggo Mini Pancakes, they come in a box of 40, which is only two breakfasts for the twins. Todd was very surprised that Bailey and Cooper could each eat 10 pancakes. And not only eat 10 pancakes but shove them in their mouth.

1 Year Check Up
Today was Bailey and Cooper's first year check-up. In addition to lots and lots of fun shots (a late birthday gift) we got their updated height and weights.
Bailey is still our little girl weighing 18 lbs 7 ounces with a diaper on and standing just over 27 inches. Her head however, remains in the 75th percentile. The doctor says she looks great but we could have told you that.
Cooper is just over 20 lbs and technically can have his car seat turned forward facing and is 29 inches tall exactly.

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY BAILEY AND COOPER!!!
We interrupt the christmas posts to bring you more relevent news. Today is Bailey and Cooper's first birthday. I can't believe they are already one, my time has flown. We had their party this past Saturday. For those of you unable to make it:
We bought the cake at Wal-mart and they gave us two free 6 inch carrot cakes that I dressed up a little bit with their names and colored icing.
We sang "Happy Birthday" to each of our children. Our guests looked at me like I was crazy that we were going to sing it twice but I think that each of the children should be serenaded with the song.
